Animating a character could be a real pain especially if you don’t have patience to make it feel right. That’s why you can utilize mocap files produced on demand by companies which had enough money to get expensive hardware for motion capturing. And actually you could buy some simple mocap files online or get some free. Get a nice pack from Mr Bones here (bvh). Go to True Bones if you need more – they’re not so expensive and you get your instant gratification
